- מִטְמוּט, מִיטְ׳m. (מָטַט) decline, use of the root מוּט. Tosef.B. Mets. VI, 18 (ref. to ימוט, Ps. 15:5) המ׳ הזהוכ׳ (ed. Zuck. המִיטּוּט) we know not in what sense this ‘decline is meant; Y. ib. V, end, 10d המיטמ׳; (Yalk. Ps. 665 היִמּוֹטוכ׳ this yimmot .
